JORJORIAN ANJAR SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

  • Haratch-Gulbenkian graduate of June 2019
  • Minimum 75% school grade point average (GPA)
  • Will have undergraduate status in fall 2019
  • Proof of acceptance to a university in Lebanon or Armenia for Fall 2019
  • Official school transcript
  • Current academic reference letter from Teacher/Administrator
  • Current reference letter attesting to Armenian community service
  • One-page double spaced essay

AEF TUFENKIAN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IN USA FOR 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Armenian Educational Foundation (AEF) is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for the Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarships for the 2019 – 2020 academic year.  Three $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to Armenian undergraduate students at an accredited United States college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, students must be of Armenian descent, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, show financial need, and be actively involved in the Armenian community.

Students who meet the above criteria should visit www.aefweb.org  for scholarship application and more information. All completed scholarship application packages must be postmarked no later than July 31, 2019, and mailed to the AEF office at 600 West Broadway, Suite 130, Glendale, CA 91204.

The Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarship Fund was established by Ralph and Savey Tufenkian in memory of their son.  The $230,000 endowed fund has provided over $470,000 in scholarships since 1991.  Currently, $17,500 in scholarships is awarded each year, including $2,500 to a student attending the American University of Armenia and six full tuition scholarships for students attending public universities in Armenia.

Scholarship for Armenia & Artsakh

Armenian Educational Foundation (AEF) is pleased to announce its scholarship program for students of Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhk, who attend a state university in Armenia or Artsakh. Applications are accepted 15th  March through 1st May.

The scholarships awarded will cover the full tuition for students in specific fields of study identified by AEF, and may differ in amount depending on state university and field of study. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, be in financial need, be in paid system of study, have GPA of at least 3.7/5 (15/20, 7/10, or 74/100), and be at least in their second year of study. Masters and PhD students are also accepted.

Scholarship for Syrian Armenian Refugee Students in Armenia

Armenian Educational Foundation (AEF) is pleased to announce a special scholarship program for Syrian Refugee Students in Armenia. Applications are accepted 15 March through 1 May.

Scholarships will be awarded up to 257,000 AMD each to supplement tuition benefits provided by the Government and different organizations for Syrian Armenian Refugee Students. The goal is to support those students who demonstrate academic excellence and are in financial need. All funds are deposited by AEF directly into student’s account at their state university.

Only Syrian refugee students in Armenia of Armenian origin, who are currently enrolled in a state university, and are in paid system of study, can apply for this scholarship.
