Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarship

AEF is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for the Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarships for the 2025 – 2026 academic year.

Three $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to Armenian undergraduate students at an accredited United States college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, students must be of Armenian descent, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, show financial need, and be actively involved in the Armenian community.

The Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarship Fund was established by Ralph and Savey Tufenkian in memory of their son Richard. The $230,000 endowed fund has provided over $510,000 in scholarships since 1991.

 

The application will be available until April 30, 2025.

The Markarian-Arakelians Scholarships

AEF is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for The Markarian-Arakelians Scholarships for the 2025 – 2026 academic year.

Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to Armenian graduate students at an accredited United States colleges or universities, music schools or conservatories in the United States who are majoring in Music or Performing Arts. To qualify for this scholarship, students must be of Armenian descent, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, show financial need, and be actively involved in the Armenian community.

Scholarship recipients may reapply in subsequent years.

 

The application will be available until April 30, 2025.

Lebanese Armenian Scholarships

Lebanon & Armenia

Armenian Educational Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of an emergency fund to provide assistance to Armenian students from Lebanon impacted by the recent crisis.

Scholarships will be awarded for this academic year to Lebanese Armenian students who have moved to Armenia or Lebanese Armenians currently attending University in Armenia with high academic standing and financial need.

Lebanese Armenian students studying at Armenian state universities, including master's and post-graduate students can apply.

Armenia & Javakhk Scholarships

Armenian Educational Foundation (AEF) is pleased to announce its scholarship program for students of Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhk, who attend a state university in Armenia. Applications are accepted 15th March through 1st May.

The scholarships awarded will cover the full tuition for students in specific fields of study identified by AEF, and may differ in amount depending on state university and field of study. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, be in financial need, be in paid system of study, have GPA of at least 3.7/5 (15/20, 7/10, or 74/100), and be at least in their second year of study. Masters and PhD students are also accepted.

George Jorjorian Scholarship

Anjar, Lebanon

AEF is accepting applications for the Jorjorian Anjar Scholarship.
Each $2,000 scholarship will be awarded annually, for up to 4 years, with re-qualification each year, to the Haratch-Gulbenkian Graduates who have qualified for full-time undergraduate studies at a University in Lebanon or Armenia.

To qualify for this scholarship, students must be of Armenian descent, have a minimum 75% GPA, show financial need, and be actively involved in the Armenian community.
